My name is Rev. Barry Hobbs. My wife, Jan, and I are ordained non-denominational wedding officiants/ministers located in Spokane Valley, Washington, officiating weddings and commitment ceremonies for all people in Washington and Idaho. We don't make judgements. That's for a higher power. Let us help you seal your commitment to each other!
We know how special and important your wedding day is to you and we are passionate about making sure your ceremony is an exact reflection of who you are. With Personalized Ceremonies, you have a gender choice for your wedding officiant. We specialize in non-denominational wedding ceremonies, large or small, in the states of Washington and Idaho. We work with the prospective bride and groom during a consultation to help them select the perfect wedding ceremony that is just right for you. After the consultation, we will email the ceremony draft to you to approve or further edit to your complete satisfaction. We love what we do and will not settle for less than 100% satisfaction from you! We ask for a 50% deposit at the consultation to hold your wedding time and date.We realize that this is a busy world that we live in and if you live too far away or don't have the time for a consultation, we can put the ceremony together by email with no personal consultation. We do this quite often. Short notice and last minute weddings accomodated if we have the time open.
We officiate weddings within a 40 mile radius of Spokane and love what we do! Generally, when one of us is not available, the other one is. Founded in 2003, we have each performed hundreds of marriages in 3 states and have the experience and expertise to assure you that your wedding ceremony will be professionally performed. Weddings are all that we do as officiants and they are what we know best. We do not do weddings in tandem, but give you a gender choice for your officiant with one email or phone call.
All of our wedding ceremonies tend to be secular. We have many types of ceremonies, including Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony, Knot Ceremony, Wine Ceremony, etc. for you to choose from. Choose from religious, semi-religious, or non-religious ceremonies as well.
**Can't find a cheap venue? We can accomodate small groups of up to 10 people in our home for a simple "elopement" type of ceremony for just $100.00!

Rehearsal in the Spokane area: $25.00
Simple ceremony within 40 miles of our home (no consultation): $100.00.
Simple ceremonies beyond a 40 mile radius: $150.00.
